Success in Kecel!

The Ópusztaszer Akhal Stud was represented by two riders at the two-day eventing competition held in Kecel this September, and the results were fantastic!
The pair of Regő and Atlasz started strong in the dressage phase, where they placed 3rd. Then came the show jumping, where they rode a clear round on a very tricky course, and with only a 0.8-second time fault they jumped straight into the lead!
On the second day, despite Regő being unwell, they managed to keep their lead with an excellent cross-country run. This secured them the overall victory in the A0 Open category! 🥇🎉

Kata also had a wonderful debut with our purebred Akhal-Teke mare, Armyt, who competed in an eventing competition for the very first time. Their dressage day started stormy but ended very well, earning them a fine 4th place (missing 3rd by just fractions of a percentage point). In the show jumping, on another technical and twisty course, a few knocked rails dropped them to 6th place. But the next day, on the cross-country course, they rode bravely and confidently, delivering a faultless round with perfect time, securing their 6th place finish.

Congratulations to both pairs – we are so proud of you! ❤️
