Hermész’s dam, Henna, was 50% Akhal-Teke and a descendant of Musztafa. She was a mare with excellent temperament—gentle, calm, with a larger bone structure and greater body mass.
His sire, Stardust, was a metallic-shining chestnut stallion with 97% Akhal-Teke blood. Within the breed, he represented the sportier type, with a more rounded conformation, muscular back, and well-proportioned build. He also had a good temperament. Among his daughters is a national eventing champion, and he consistently passed on bravery to his offspring.
