Horse riding camps

HORSE RIDING CAMPS

Prerequisite for registration:  at least half a year of riding experience, regular, active riding.
Beginners are not allowed to participate in the camp!

Required equipment:

mosquito protection, mosquito nets, leather riding boots: shin guards or boots are mandatory! Raincoat, sun and mosquito protection (long-sleeved shirts, waterproof pants, etc.)

Safety and fitness conditions: The riding instructor has the right to refuse or interrupt participation in the program if the person to be trained does not meet the basic conditions for safe riding, especially with regard to individual abilities, physical fitness or failure to comply with the regulations.

Horse riding is a dangerous sport! Horses are naturally flighty prey animals, and can startle, jump, or run away at sudden sounds or movements, which can cause injuries to riders who fall off their backs! Horses may react similarly to bee, wasp, or hornet stings, and the sounds and movements of forest game can also scare them! Unfortunately, we cannot eliminate these external influences, so
everyone rides at their own risk!

Arrival: Monday evening at 6 pm at the latest!

5 hours of riding lessons per day, riders (2 riders/1 horse) are put on the horse in shifts, in half-hour shifts, which means approx. 2.5 hours of time spent on the horse per day and the transfer of theoretical and practical information. It is important that during the time spent on the ground, the rider, in addition to following the theoretical material,
also observes the companions on the horse, looks at the technical elements they ride well or incorrectly, so that they can learn from them and then
get back on the horse.

Another way to learn horse riding (in addition to the course) is to participate in summer camps. If possible, you should use the time more intensively in this one-week program. The goal is to start the learning process both physically and mentally, to consolidate the foundations. The riding experience you gain makes it possible to decide the goal and the continuation.

We often emphasize that you can’t learn to ride in a week, but an intensive start is a great boost, and there was an example where we reached the level of social riding in a camp and a few autumn weekends.

Versatile equestrian training focused on teaching riding and communicating with horses.

We do not have separate children’s and adult camps, the age group is 15-60 years. Over the past years, many different groups, even with very different attitudes, from near and far, have visited us, and fortunately, more than one of them has become our returning guest. Among other things, to our great joy, we hosted the beginning students of the University of Theatre and Film Arts for 5 years, with whom we were typically able to work very productively.

We accommodate campers in Mongolian and Kazakh yurts, providing all the necessary comfort. Full board throughout the week, from meals to hot and cold showers.
